Alexander, one of my Twitter followers, contacted me about a month ago about booking a boudoir session with me. He said that he loves my work and wants to feel sexy in his own body, and thought a session with me would help with that. I LOVE those types of requests, because I truly believe that everyone has their own inherent sexiness and they should celebrate that for themselves though great photography and even prints of themselves. 

Alexander and I had a fantastic session together. He's quite charming and widely versed in a great many things; from gaming to food to community service. We spent a while with me getting to know more about him and him getting more comfortable with me, and then were able to move very seamlessly into the photography. 

I have a lot of people tell me that they would love to make boudoir images with me after they "lose 10 more pounds" or "firm up just a little more" or address whatever physical insecurity they have. While I support people's own comfort with timing, I also think that everyone deserves to celebrate themselves right now, even when it's not "perfect." The truth is, everyone should be a model for themselves, and everyone should celebrate their own bodies like Alexander.
