Lifestyle Couple’s Session - with Kalyse & Jackie

I’ve known Kalyse and Jackie since high school. We were all in band together, albeit in different cities, and all met through various activities such as all-state band and various band camps. I met Kalyse first, my sophomore year. My friend Anthony introduced me to her and said “this is Kalyse, and you’re going to love her.” How right he was; and it continues to be a friendship that has lasted more than *mumbles incoherently* years!

Kalyse and Jackie have been together since just after college, and I couldn’t be more happy for them. This shoot took place when my boyfriend Chris and I were visiting them in Austin, Texas. I’d gone to photograph the elopement of one of my cousins, and I wanted to thank them by doing a portrait shoot with them while I was there. 

We took our time around the city. These images were all photographed on film, both in 35mm and medium format. I absolutely love the look of film, and I definitely have that as an option for all of my sessions!
